In this video, I explain the Very Long Baseline Interferometry(VLBI) technique which is used by the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) to image the shadow of the black hole M87* and SAG A*. I also explain the basics of radio astronomy and talk about telescopes to help understand the topic well. • • In July 2022 my research group and I visited #MIT's Haystack Observatory to discuss our balloon-borne project.
