In this 'Episode 3' of Sikkim Series, we visit Kala Patthar and Gurudongmar Lake on 3rd day. We start from Lachen (from Hotel Delight The Fortuna), and first go to Kala Patthar which is at height of 18,500 feets. We can see Chopta Valley on the way to Kalla Patthar. At Kala Patthar, our kids face issue of low oxygen level and it disturbs our further plans for visiting Gurudongmar Lake. However, my wife decides to stay with kids at Army Check Post which is on the way to Gurudongmar and then we continue our visit to Heaven of India i.e. Gurudongmar Lake. Visiting Gurudongmar Lake is dream come true for me. This is such an awesome, heavenly and divine place!! Summer in Sikkim is awesome!
