Why do glaciers move
>> YOUR LINK HERE: ___ http://youtube.com/watch?v=MHbd45pmqXI
Glaciers move because of gravity and the process of basal sliding. As the mass of accumulated ice increases, the glacier slowly flows downhill. Pressure at the glacier's base creates a thin layer of water, which reduces friction and enables the glacier to slide over the land, shaping landscapes in the process. • Tags: #Glacier movement #Basal sliding #Gravity #Geology #Ice flow • @Whyistheworldworkingasitisnow • πThank you for watching this video • π click the SUBSCRIBE button to stay connected with this channel.π
