A review of the Squier Bullet Stratocaster with Damon from Fender. • Shop the full range of Squier Bullet guitars over at PMT Online: https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/brands/sq... • This is an entry-level affordable guitar suitable for beginners and novices or students, Squier are the sister company to Fender - one of the most famous guitar manufacturers in the world, so the combination of the credible quality reputation of Fender and the affordability of Squier was always going to be a winner ... • The Squier Bullet is based on the shape of perhaps Fender's most famous model of guitar - the Stratocaster. The body shape emulates the Stratocaster - albeit with a slightly slimmer (42mm) profile, and is made from Basswood-a sustainable wood type used on many popular brands of guitar. The bolt-on neck uses Maple capped with a Rosewood fret-board with inlaid Pearloid dots for fret orientation whilst at the top of the neck is a traditional Stratocaster headstock with die-cast chrome machine heads ... • Sound comes courtesy of 3 single coil Stratocaster-type pick-ups and these are managed via 2 x Tone and 1 x Volume knobs along with a 5-position blade style pick-up selector switch. The bridge boasts individual die-cast chrome saddles which can be raised or lowered to suit the playing technique and there's also a Vintage style synchronised tremolo system. • The cost of this guitar won't break the bank and the quality is of a sufficient level that it makes playing this guitar a pleasure. For parents who are looking at the Squier Bullet as a Christmas or birthday gift for budding young wannabee musicians in the family but don't want to shell out a huge amount, then I would suggest that this may be one of the most suitable choices ... The Squier Bullet comes in a variety of colours, check out our full range instore or online • Backing track was from a preset from a Fender G Dec 30 Blues version... • To complete a starter package, you'll need an amplifier, strap, lead, plectrums a tuition book and possible a carry gigbag or stand. There are many amps to choose from such from but the most popular are.... Fender Mustang range, Marshall MG range, Line 6 Spider's, Vox VT's, Roland Cube's and Orange Crush. Something around 10 to 15 watts will be fine for a first home amp and if it has some sounds and effects built in that would be even better. • Fender Mustang 1 Amp... • http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/fender-mus...
