There have been a numerous fatalities and mishaps on SA's roads since the beginning of the festive season. • Now, as we enter the height of celebrations, more reports of risky driving and fatalities have emerged. • The Daily Dispatch on Tuesday reported that an Intercape bus driver was suspended after a video of him driving recklessly went viral on social media at the weekend. • The bus was travelling from Cape Town to Durban with the driver reportedly admitting he was wrong. • Intercape said he was suspended pending a disciplinary hearing. • Passenger Kiewiet Pretorius said the driver had overtaken a few other cars in a similar fashion. • In the 13-second video, the bus is seen passing two trucks around a bend on solid double white lines.
