#danbyappliances #danbyhowto #installationguide • Part 1 – Initial Hook-Up: • Remove hoses from dishwasher interior (should include drain and fill hose (washers), coupler, and adapter). • Install the hoses on the bottom back area of the dishwasher • Remove tap adapter from hose coupler by pressing down on the top of coupler • Remove tape from tap adapter and install the thin washer from the plastic bag that also contains the hose hook for the back of the dishwasher. The 2 thick washers that are taped in the tap adapter may be too thick to allow a secure fit of the tap adapter to the household tap. • Remove gray plastic holder assembly from the bag. • Align the bottom of the clip with the cut out on the top-back area of the dishwasher • Make sure top area and bottom area are properly aligned with the locking cut out areas. When they are aligned push down on the clip, making sure it is locked into place (make sure the assembly is pushed down far enough to lock it into place). • NOTE: • Make sure the washer seals are in the hoses before installation. • Make sure hoses are tight enough to stop any leaking. • The bag that holds the small thin washer and the hose holding assembly onto the back of the unit is separate from the bag the hoses are in. • When finished using the dishwasher push the small red button on the hose coupler assembly before removing the hose from the household tap (relieves water pressure from hoses) so there is less chance of water spraying out. • • Part 2 – Completion of Cycle: • Turn water off at the main tap at the sink. • Push the red button on the coupler assembly, this allows the water pressure to be released from the hoses before you remove the coupler from the tap. • Remove coupler by pushing down on the locking collar that is around the tap adapter. • When the coupler is off of the tap, turn the coupler upside down to try and remove any water that is located in the coupler. • When the excess water has been removed, carefully hook the 2 hoses into the rear hose hook that is firmly attached to the back of the dishwasher. • NOTE: • There will be water in the hoses so be careful not to allow the hoses to fall to the floor as the trapped water will leak onto the floor and could cause a slipping hazard. Gravity will cause the water to leak if the hoses are on the floor. • If the hoses stay firmly in the rear hook and the hoses do not go lower than the height of the interior tub, the water should not leak out onto the floor. • Visit our site for more information! • https://www.danby.com/ • ► Be sure to subscribe to our page for more videos like this one, as well as new product launches and exciting partnerships! • ► Follow Danby on Social Media for contests, product highlights and more! • Facebook: / danbyappliances • Twitter: / danbyappliance • Instagram: / danbyappliances • Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.ca/danbyapplian...
