I made my own telescope solar filter. Well at least the frame part. Really easy and free planes too! I have the Celestron NexStar 6SE 150mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain GoTo Telescope . Love it! I have just never pointed it at the SUN!! Now I can ;) The plywood was about a half inch thick. The skrews were one inch long #6 flat phillips head.
