The new circuit board has been connected and is running the flywheel now so I can do more experiments to help me determine the best configuration for the next prototype. The 'repeat cycle time delay relay' trigger and the 'coil bistable latching relay' are still not ready to be added so I've Frankensined some wires to bypass their necessity for now. For now, the only thing I want to think about is the toroid coil and how to wind it properly to help me overcome Lenz's law while still providing high voltage output.
