This is Watson and today we are going to stray a little from our usual pimple popping and dermatology routine! We are going to look at the top five tallest humans in recorded history! This GIGANTIC list is going to blow your mind! Nobody under eight foot tall is invited, so let's kick it off right about now! • Standing at eight foot three inches tall is Finland's tallest man. (On screen Väinö Myllyrinne) As number five on our list, this giant was born in 1909 and lived well into his 50s. Väinö suffered from a pituitary condition known as acromegaly. He was a chicken farmer and he served in the Finnish military! WOW • Number four is Leonid Stadnyk, who stood a verified 8 foot five inches tall. Unlike most people on the list, his height was never recorded by the guinness book of world records, but this Ukranian giant also grew to be over two and a half meters tall due to a pituatary condition. Although his height is contraversial, there is no doubt that he was enormous. Sadly he passed away in 2014 of a brain hemmorhage. • Born in 1932, American John Carroll grew to be almost 8 foot eight inches tall. That's 263.5 centimeters. His extraordinary growth started at the age of sixteen and continued until his death. At one point he grew eight inches in height in a year. He was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, New York. • Now let's take a look at number two. Oh, John Rogan. Different guy. John Rogan was born in Hendersonville, Tennessee, on February 16, 1868. He was the son of the former slave William Rogan, as the fourth of twelve children. John began to grow very rapidly at the age of 13, leading to abnormal rigidity of the skeletal joints. John stood 8 foot and 8 inches tall putting him at number two on our list! • And who is number one? Of course it is the Alton Giant Robert Wadlow. Born in 1918 Robert was an attraction until his death in 1940 at the young age of 22. A giant among men Wadlow measured over 8 foot and 11 inches!
