Direct examination is where one side calls the witness first and question them. • Cross examination is where the other side's lawyer questions the witness that has been called. • This can get tricky depending on the witness and whether or not leading questions are used. • Leading questions are used in direct examination. • A leading question implies a particular answer. • A non-leading question has no implicit answer. • Thanks for watching! • John G.
