I recommend downloading Caissabase here: http://caissabase.co.uk/ • To download the chess engine, Critter, go to http://www.vlasak.biz/critter/. • To download Stockfish go to http://stockfishchess.org/download/. • These tutorials use the fork SCID vs. PC, which at this time is more actively developed than main-line SCID. Apologies for any confusion as I use the shorthand SCID in all cases. Many aspects of the tutorials apply to both SCID and SCID vs. PC.
