This video was filmed during a GIFTED trip away with Crystal Ski Holidays. Whilst we were there we decided to shoot a traditional little alpine recipe. Crystal Ski Holidays had no idea we were going to do this, by the way! It's a little rough around the edges, but hopefully you'll enjoy it! • We were very lucky to be gifted self-catered accommodation during our stay, meaning we ate our body weight in cheese and cured meats for 7 days straight. One of our favourite discoveries was Tartiflette. This rich and luxurious potato dish, straight out of the French Alps, makes an indulgent supper for two. There is nothing healthy about it, but it will put the biggest, greasiest smile on your face. After much artery-wringing, we decided that tartiflette really ought to be all about the cheese, so we celebrated the discovery of beautiful Reblochon (a soft washed-rind and smear-ripened French cheese made in the Alpine region of Savoy from raw cow's milk) by sticking two giants slabs on top.
