This video instructs how to help a baby learn to get into sitting. My name is Amy Sturkey, PT. I am a pediatric physical therapist in the US. This video teaches a simple technique of how to teach a baby to get into sitting. I taped this video specifically for families with a child with Microcephaly; however, this technique could be used with any child with a developmental delay who has not learned how to get into sitting yet. On average babies learn how to get into sitting by themselves at 8 months of age. This video is only appropriate for children who already close to get into sitting independently.
