MIJ ST62-VSP Stratocaster plugged directly into a Marshall JVM210H with 1960a and 1960b cabs. • The VSP (Vintage Special Project) series instruments are the absolute top of the line from Fender Japan. This MIJ 1962 reissue Strat is no exception: I'd say its the best non-vintage Strat I've ever played! The construction feels rock solid and it's built with top-quality wood and components all around. The finish is especially nice feeling. It's a nitro topcoat and it has been buffed and finished to a glassy shine that feels great to play. This model was originally sold only in Japan, but I had this one imported into the USA. Unfortunately Fender Japan is no longer producing guitars so I'd say grab one of these if you ever get the chance. • Some pics: https://imgur.com/gallery/5FXGW8K • Guitar Specs: • Made in Japan in 2011 • Alder 2-piece Body • Nitrocellulose Lacquer Topcoat Finish • Maple Neck, 7.25 Radius Rosewood Fretboard, Vintage Frets • USA CTS Pots, USA CRL Switch, Vintage Cloth Wiring • Japan Custom Alnico ST Pickups • Steel Block Tremolo Bridge with Bent Steel Saddles • Vintage Kluson-Style Tuners
