Questions on women security have raised in Bengaluru ever since the alleged charges of mass molestation on New Year's Eve. State Home Minister G. Parmeshwara said such unfortunate incidents happen on festive occasions like New Year's Eve and Christmas. • He added that 1500 policemen were deployed to prevent such incidents but unfortunately the incident occurred despite the additional security.
