3 Obtainable Cluster Swaps for Ek Honda Civics USDM 9600 Gauges

In today's Civic Vlog, I talk about three POPULAR Gauge Cluster swaps for 96-00 Ek Honda Civic's. These are obtainable swaps that can be modded with LED's, fluorescent paint, and all the rev banging goodness. Now which do I choose? • As a 16 year old kid, all I wanted was a damn tachometer (RPM Gauge) in my 1996 Honda Civic DX. Afterall, it was a manual car with NO tach?! So I figured I would put together a short video to explain different Honda Civic Gauge cluster swaps that are obtainable for the USDM 96-00 Honda Civic's. While I'm not installing any of the clusters in this video (don't hate me) this knowledge is still helpful for those wanting a different cluster. I show several examples of LED's installed in the Civic clusters as well as some examples of modified clusters to make the originals look less...90's. Painted gauge needles, carbon overlays, etc. • The Honda CRV Cluster swap into a Civic is by far one of the coolest looking in my opinion for the price. For people with the CX/DX models of Civics, installing a EX model will give you a plug and play RPM gauge. For people in my shoes, the Civic Si cluster, the Civic Type R cluster, or even the S2K swap is much better looking. I give you my thoughts on the look of LED's and the possibility of changing mileage on a Honda Civic cluster. Adjusting mileage is something that should only be done to match the chassis of the car and for the most part, is illegal. But anyway. • Just wanted to make this to help the newbies of the Honda world and give out some ideas on mods for different trim levels.
