Document Style Scrolls 101 Part 3 Wax Seals

This is a 35 minute video covering how to make a wax seal for document style scrolls. If you are an East Kingdom scribe, and wish to have one of these seals placed on a tag, ribbon, or cord on your scroll, please contact the Tyger Clerk of the Signet with your request (requests aren't guaranteed to be granted, but depending on the assignment, and the behind the scenes logistics, I recommend speaking with the Tyger Clerk as far in advance as possible (via [email protected]) - especially in case other scribes may have requested seals on their armigerous scrolls too). For more information on which seals are available for use in the East Kingdom, please visit the EK Wiki article, here: http://wiki.eastkingdom.org/index.php... • As before, I apologize in advance for any shaky-cam from head movement (the camera is embedded into my glasses), and this video is intended to show how I make seals. There are certainly other ways a wax seal can be made and poured, and I encourage anyone who wishes to try this to practice a little in advance. • This video is for educational purposes only; please feel free to share it as you deem fit with credit, but above all, have fun with it. Seals don't need to only be for SCA awards and wedding invitations - you can always use a seal of your own for personal correspondence, thank-you notes, or other declarations of appreciation for friends and family alike.
