This video is even more detailed than the other one, so here we go. • Here's something that shocked me - even during Costa Rica's dry season, Monteverde stays pretty wet! I'll show you exactly how the weather really works up here in some days, but for sure not all of them. Plus, I've got a very important tip about insect repellent that I wish I'd known earlier. Forget those sprays everyone recommends - I'll tell you why cream repellents are absolutely the way to go here. • Getting to Monteverde was quite the adventure, and I'm breaking down all your transportation options. Whether you're thinking about taking the public bus (with the exact schedule I used) or wondering if those shuttle services are worth the extra cost, I've got you covered. Those bus timetables can be tricky to find online, so I'm sharing all the current schedules I discovered. • One huge surprise was how uncrowded the trails were!
