The Bucheshwara Temple is located in the village of Koravangala, 11kms from Hassan city, Karnataka. The temple was built in 1173 A.D. by a officer called Buchiraja, to celebrate the coronation of Hoysala King Veera Ballala II. The temple is an elegant monument of 12th century Hoysala architecture.
