So the two tracks between Rugby Birmingham saw a substantial increase in both passenger freight traffic over the weekend. Now non stop passenger trains through Birmingham Int'l Coventry stations are actually quite uncommon. Nearly all passenger services along that route call there with only a few exceptions. However on this day there were 3x Avanti services per hour in each direction passing non stop. Now these services were routed away from Birmingham New St at Stechford where they were travel towards Aston Bescot Stadium, avoiding both Birmingham New St Wolverhampton before rejoining the normal route near Penkridge and continue towards Stafford and back onto the mainline. • INCLUDED: • Avanti West Coast Pendolino's Voyagers, Cross Country Voyagers, London North Western 350's, Transport for Wales 158 + 150 and 2x GBRF class 66's. 66707 66732. • So yes, lots to look out for. The regular services plus the diverts and freights. • Thanks for watching this video! • Thumbs Up, Comment, Share Subscribe. • You can also follow me message me on twitter at the link below. • / train_planehub
