Tom (Glimlip) met Federico (Freddie Kane) in 2018 on a cloudy day in The Netherlands to view a synthesizer that was up for sale. Four years further down the road, the two are still in contact. But this time to combine their forces to create their first track: Traces. Mixing the skills of a key player and composer with an instrumental hip-hop producer resulted in rich soundscapes, unexpected textures and a lot of detail. Traces is a sonic lollipop. The concept behind the song comes from the circular sense of searching: Whenever you feel like you have achieved something, often you realize you are back at square one - but this time it’s a different you.
