Making an Ebonized Oak Cutting Board woodworking

Ebonized Oak Cutting Board • The oak is ebonized by a natural chemical reaction to the tanons inside the wood. The board is coated with a “tea” made from oak shavings. I then rub a apple cider vinegar mixture on the oak and let it react overnight. The resulting wood is jet black.
