Trestle table in Redwood and Birch Ply Part 1 061

Hi there. I do regular work for an interior designer, and they’ve recently asked me to make an A-Frame trestle table that will then be upholstered. Although I’ve quoted on a few of these, this is the first one I’ve done, so I’ve taken it steady, and the result is this three-part series. The trestles are in Redwood and Birch ply, and the table top is just in Birch ply, all held together with plenty of glue and a few dominoes. • Now I’ve done something a little different with this build, in that as well as the full-fat 3-parter, I’ve also made a semi-skimmed ‘director’s cut’ that covers the full project in around 10 minutes (OK, closer to 11…) and I’ll be posting that next week, for the folks who don’t have the time to spend on these longer multi-part series. But if you fancy taking a look at both, let me know in the comments (or via Twitter - @10minuteshop) which you prefer; this series has more detail, more of me talking to camera, and a couple of tips and tricks along the way. The all-in-one 'director's cut' has a lot more voiceover and fast-forwarding, just to be able to fit all the processes in.
