This Korean stew was invented shortly after the Korean War. The Koreans took American processed ingredients from the Army bases, which included SPAM, sausages, canned baked beans and incorporated it with Korean flavors such as Gochugaru, kimchi, and tofu. The best part of this dish is that you can definitely add in any toppings you prefer. It’s an easy, comforting, and deliciously filling stew! • 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: • 🔸 2 (17.7 oz) packs Korean Beef Stock Soup (you can substitute with Chicken broth) • 🔸 2 Sausages (I used Hot Links) • 🔸 60g Ground Beef • 🔸 ½ canned SPAM • 🔸 ½ canned Baked Beans • 🔸 ½ block Firm Tofu • 🔸 ½ cup Rice Cake • 🔸 1 small White Onion • 🔸 1 stalk Green Onion • 🔸 1 cup Kimchi • 🔸 1 sliced Cheddar Cheese • 🔸 1 instant Ramen Noodles (ramyeon) • 🔸 Enoki/Shiitake/King Oyster Mushrooms (I forgot to buy some for mine 😭) • 𝘎𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘉𝘦𝘦𝘧 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘥𝘦: • 🔹 2 tsp pressed Garlic • 🔹 1 Tbsp Cooking Wine • 🔹 ½ Tbsp Soy Sauce • 🔹 ⅛ Black Pepper • 𝘛𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘩: • 🔺 1 Tbsp Gochugang • 🔺 1 Tbsp Mirin • 🔺 1 Tbsp Korean Red Pepper Flakes • 🔺 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce • 🔺 1 Tbsp pressed Garlic • 🔺 Salt Black Pepper • • 💕 Follow my Instagram for more recipes: •   / justlikemoms_
