What's it like living in Lehi, Utah? In this video I'll walk you through how Lehi has become the fastest growing city in the state of Utah, always growing and attracting new residents by attracting jobs (especially in the tech sector), and by being the gateway to Salt Lake County to the north, and Utah County to the south. • You'll see me walking the neighborhoods on the east bench of the Wasatch Mountains, just south of what we call point of the mountain where the range juts out into the south end of the Salt Lake valley, creating the division between Salt Lake and Utah Counties. These are nice homes, most of them hovering around $1M. Lehi has homes both more and less expensive than that, and there is a ton of growth happening in Lehi, and a lot of that growth is in newly-built and still-being-built townhomes and condos. • I talk about the growth of the tech sector in Lehi, which is how the commercial development here has come to be known as Silicon Slopes. Lining the I-15 corridor throughout Lehi are offices specific to tech jobs, which has a lot to do with the growth here. • We visit Thanksgiving Point, a sprawling compound of awesome amenities, including the Butterfly Biosphere, the Dinosaur Museum, restaurants, the massive outdoor gardens, and a lot more. They do seasonal things there like the Tulip Fesitval in May, the corn-maze around Halloween, weddings there are absolutely gorgeous, it's a very popular place to be. • We visit Traverse Mountain, a retail area full of all the shopping you can imagine, restaurants, clothes, outlets, etc. • The schools in Lehi are all within the Alpine School District, which has excellent schools, and there are excellent charter and private schools as good options as well.
