We know that Raspberry Pi is known as the “Pocket Sized PC”, but for debugging project purposes it is difficult to carry an additional display/monitor just for that. Also, most of us wont have an access to a HDMI display in our laptops. So, I figured out a way to easily connect raspberry pi to laptop display. • Get things ready before moving onto tutorial. • Step 1. • Download necessary Softwares from the links below. • a) Download Angry IP Scanner: • http://angryip.org/download/#windows • b) Download Putty: • http://www.putty.org/ • c) Download VNC-Viewer: • https://www.realvnc.com/download/viewer/ • • Step 2. • Watch the above tutorial and do the steps along with the video or note it down separately. If you have done all the things correctly, it should work fine. If you get any errors during the process, please comment below. We will try to solve your issue. • NOTE: If you don't get your Raspberry Pi detected in angry IP scanner, please enable Dead host scan and re-scan it. A pre-installed OS (ex. NOOBS) should be present in your memory card. This tutorial has worked the best for Windows platform. • Here is an update: For some people, they were not able to get the display in Remote Desktop connection. Use (sudo apt-get install xrdp) to install xrdp on Pi and try connecting again. It works !. • Sit back and enjoy this simple tutorial and get your Raspberry Pi connected to your Laptop Display :) • Please like and share the video if this tutorial worked for you.
