BUYER BEWARE PEX PLUMBING WITH PLASTIC MANABLOCK MANIFOLD

Many homes nowadays have PEX Plumbing. It's cheaper than copper plumbing, and some offer a simple control panel, such as the manablock manifold. Our manablock was made by Vanguard Plumbing Systems and no longer exists. Viega also used to sell model 49366 but discontinued in mid-2022, leaving many homeowners without a 1:1 solution. No more branch adapters are sold. Sadly, our unit was leaking all over the garage the other day. • Don't be left out dry when they discontinue the next model. I suggest going with a copper manifold, given that it should last longer than plastic.
