Once upon a time in ancient Greece, Narcissus was so handsome that all the girls who saw him fell in love with him. One day, while Narcissus was wandering in the forest, a fairy named Echo saw him and fell in love with him. Echo tries to talk to Narcissus, however she is unable to speak to him because of her curse. Narcissus walks away from Echo with an arrogant attitude. Unable to get Narcissus out of her mind, Echo cannot bear the pain of her unrequited love and dies. Her bones, remaining from her entire body, transform into stones and her voice becomes echoes. Her last wish before dying is that Narcissus also falls into unrequited love. The Gods grant Echo's wish and Narcissus wanders through the forest one day and bends lower to a river to drink water. Unfortunately, he falls in love with his reflection in the river and waits helplessly by the river, watching himself until he dies. He dies where he is, looking at his reflection.
