The first part describes how in social facilitation, a person is influenced positively in the presence of others subsequent to an example of cyclist where it illustrates that the study has found that cyclist recorded faster times when racing against others than when they are cycling by themselves. This finalize that a cyclist performance has enhanced because of the presence of others. • Second part of the video explains social inhibition and shows how the presence of others can significantly hinder the performance of a person giving an example that participants memorized lists better alone than in front of an audience. The video, in its’ last part, demonstrates the mere presence theory where it shows how presence of others affect differently at different group of people in the same time following a flow diagram.
