If you have ever edited a video longer than 10 minutes long, then you know that render/export/import times can build up; and who has time for that? • For those that don't want to listen to me drone on for all that time, skip to 1:55 • I show you how to easily and simply cut time-expense in half. So a video that will export in an hour will then export in half an hour. • • All you need is a computer and an external hard drive (or perhaps a large thumb drive). Amount of space does not matter! As long as it is bigger than what you are exporting, importing, or rendering, it will work just fine! • Written tutorial: Connect hard drive (or thumb drive, flash drive, etc.), and open your editing software (iMovie, Final Cut, Premier, etc.). If you're rendering, create a folder in your external drive and point your editing software to render to that folder. If you are importing, then move the files to your external drive and import to your editing software. If you are exporting, follow same as rendering. Create a folder and point your software to it in the external drive. NOTE: If your software is being run from your external drive (the bootup disk is located there) then do everything backwards (put render folder on internal comp drive, etc). • Feel free to like, comment, and subscribe!!!! • My channel: • http://adf.ly/W94xp
