Marine Elegance Joker valve replacement how to video transcript • 00:52.68 Disconnect power to the unit. • • 00:58.00 Remove the mounting bolt covers. • 01:02.52 Next, remove the three bowl screws from the T-bracket mounting base. • 01:09.52 Unmount the discharge hose support strap. • 01:17.00 Invert the unit and disconnect the wires. • 01:28.00 Remove the motor mount screw. • 01:34.00 Loosen the bowl bolt adapter clamp on the bowl side. • 01:41.00 Remove the discharge pump assembly. • 01:52.00 Note the location of the discharge hose in its relationship to the discharge pump. • 02:03.00 Remove the discharge hose clamp and the adapter fitting. • • 02:10.00 Remove the Joker valve in the Joker valve insert. • 02:17.00 Remove the discharge hose. And the secondary Joker Valve. • 02:29.00 Clean the discharge fitting before reinstalling the new Joker valve. • 02:35.00 Make certain the insert is flush with the fitting. • 02:40.00 Tighten both hose clamps to 10 ft Lb. pounds. • 02:47.00 Reinstall the pump assembly in the reverse order.
