Attachment theory states that a strong emotional and physical attachment to at least one primary caregiver is critical to personal development. John Bowlby first coined the term as a result of his studies involving the developmental psychology of children from various backgrounds. • There are four types of attachment: Secure attachment (55-65% in non-clinical populations) Avoidant attachment (20-30% in low risk samples) Ambivalent attachment (5-15% of low risk samples) Disorganized attachment (20-40% in non-clinical populations) • ORIGINAL ARTICLE • Molly Barger • +Link : https://www.psych2go.net/attachment-t... • PROJECT MANAGER • Erin Bogo • SCRIPT • Lyndsey Brauch • VOICE OVER • Christie K. • ART, ANIMATION EDITING • Zyanya Méndez • +Twitter : / yanyiart • +Tumblr : / yanyiart • • MORE Pysch2Go • +Website : https://www.psych2go.net/ • +Twitter : / psych2go • +Facebook : / psych2go • +Tumblr : http://psych2go.me • • BUSINESS OR LICENSING • +Contact : [email protected]
