Things To Do in Munich Local Foods Travel Day Spain to Germany 🇩🇪

Join us today as we travel from Valencia, Spain to Munich Germany! We enjoy the Sala VIP Lounge...maybe our new favorite lounge in Europe? It's Elaine's first EVER time to Germany. And both Steven Elaine's first time to Munich. So, of course we schedule a free walking tour. We are super excited!! • First, we pack-up and leave our adorable fur friends in Ontinyent and drive 90 minutes to the Valencia airport. Here we relax in the amazing Sala VIP Lounge. It it air conditioned, has an amazing food and beverage selection AND is super clean! • After a long travel day we finally land in Munich, Germany. We're exhausted but super excited. Tomorrow, we have a free walking tour scheduled in Altstadt or Old Downtown. • The next day, we joined our group in Altstadt and saw the famous glockenspiel or in English ‘chimes’. Up high in the tower of the New City Hall in Marienplatz. It depicts important scenes throughout Munich's history, such as the wedding of Duke Wilhelm V to Renate of Lorraine in 1568. And the famous Coopers” Dance “Schäfflertanz”, performed every 7 years since the early 1800’s seen here danced by the barrel makers in order to lift the spirits of the people of Munich after a severe plague. It is now a common tradition in the Old Bavaria region and the next live dance will be in 2026. • Once we realized, we were separated from our tour group and couldn't find them to catch up...We decided to make the most of the afternoon by having some traditional Bavarian /German foods. It was AMAZING! • Finally, we finished our absolutely fantastic first meal out in Munich. Then we walked around the town a bit enjoying the stunning architecture and the uniquely fun shops before heading back to the train station and home to Daisy. • Thanks for watching!
