The Bureau International des Expositions will select the host city for World Expo 2030 this week from among three candidates - Rome in Italy, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, and Busan in South Korea. CNA's Lim Yun Suk heads to the southern port city of Busan, which is hopeful that a winning bid could boost South Korea’s economy. South Korea's bidding committee has estimated that the 4.9 trillion won (US$3.6 million) in investment will generate more than US$44 billion, attract nearly 35 million visitors and create half a million jobs. • Subscribe to our channel here: https://cna.asia/youtubesub • Subscribe to our news service for must-read stories: • Telegram - https://cna.asia/telegram • WhatsApp - https://cna.asia/whatsapp • Follow us: • CNA: https://cna.asia • CNA Lifestyle: http://www.cnalifestyle.com • Facebook: / channelnewsasia • Instagram: / channelnewsasia • Twitter: / channelnewsasia • TikTok: / channelnewsasia
