I also talk about some of the basic tools we use with the horoscope such as planetary periods, sign periods and transits. In Indian astrology, charts are presented in a square format unlike the round format commonly used in Western astrology. We'll discuss the North Indian format, which is widely used in that region, as well as the South Indian format that emphasizes zodiac signs.
