This performance of From the Ashes was performed at John Gupton stadium in Austin, TX. This was the UIL Area H finals and the top 4 performers of this competition would move on to State UIL. Steele High School placed 7th out of the 22 bands that competed in prelims, and the 10 bands that competed in finals. This was a new highest ranking record for the Steele Band! This was their second time ever making it to Area Finals.
