Oro ‘Ei’ is a brand new conservation song written by Lemarti in partnership with Samburu-based conservation organisations, Save the Elephants, Grevy’s Zebra Trust and Ewaso Lions. ‘Oro’ is how Samburu herders call their sheep while ‘Ei’ is a call for goats. The song, produced by Maich Blaq for Lemarti’s Kumontana Productions, is a call to Samburu communities to protect both their domestic animals and their unique wildlife.
