Harford county Maryland Conowingo Dam fishing May 2020 fishing

Went to the Conowingo Dam today looking for some Shad and Snakeheads but as you saw, I ran into nothing but Rockfish and a few White Perch. First time in my life that I've ever caught Rockfish on 1 inch Shad Darts. The Rockfish season is closed so all fish were released. I do my best to not even touch the little guys. I did catch several nice quality Rockfish, grabbed a • quick photo and sent them on their way. I guess its what's makes the dam fun to fish. Went there for shad and maybe a bonus Snakehead and caught nothing but the opposite.
