Greek version here : • SAMSUNG TV (UA-UE-UN series) LED Back... • • Replacement of the LED backlight on a Samsung UA-UE-UN series TV. • • A few points to remember : • • Be careful in disassembly and reassembly. Gloves are highly recomended and always make sure you don't lose any screws. Always take note of the different types of screws, so as not to lose or mix them or place them in the wrong position when putting everything back. • • Also take note of the different types of connectors and how their securing mechanisms work, so that you won't destroy the ribbon cables. • If a piece doesn't seem to be cooperating when removing, don't force it. Try to figure out how it is fixed in position, how it is secured, and you'll eventually find out the proper way to remove it without damaging anything. • • If a device is designed by the manufacturer in a way that allows it to be assembled by human hands in a factory, then it is most probably designed to also be disassembled by human hands, so there is always a proper way to remove each component. • • TVs typicaly use single phase AC that is converted into DC, and they use many different voltages. The Left side pcb in the video is the power converter, and it takes 220V AC and turns it into many different voltages, DC and AC. I noticed 12V, 5V and 60V DC, but I'm pretty sure there are other voltages involved, so be very careful when connecting the power cord to test things out. • • Always wear gloves and try not to crush any wires.Don't use Nitrile gloves, as they are not so insulating.
