Micah No. 5. • Parody of Mambo No. 5 by Lou Bega • Performed by ApologetiX. • Reproduced by permission J Jackson, ApologetiX. • http://www.apologetix.com • ApologetiX have a great mission statement - to reach the lost and teach the rest. Take a look at their web site, download some songs and send them a donation. J always replies to an email. ApologetiX can be found on Facebook. • You can watch the original song here: •    • Lou Bega - Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit ...   • This song is our first Christmas song, although Lived the Day You Died and JC's Mom are included on ApologetiX's Christmas album. • Lou Bega sang a little bit of Monica, a little bit of Erica, a little bit of Tina, a little bit of Mary, a little bit of Jessica....you get the idea. I think he liked the girls! So do we, but maybe just in a different way to Lou. • This song is transformed into what can be given to Christ for His birthday. A little bit of Hannukah, caroling, wreath, tinsel, Santa, Mary, Bethlehem, and a little baby too. It reminds us many times of the prophecy of Micah 5:2 about Bethlehem. By the end of the song Micah 5:2 ought to be fixed in your memory, if you have one and if it works! • Puppets transcend time and every other convention or constraint which affects people. We can play any instrument, make any sound and perform any act - even vanish and reappear. Nothing is beyond our abilities. If you are a person, you must use your imagination and there's no telling what can happen! • This was our first use of a green screen and it has shown us how much is possible - there are no limits to what we can do now! • This one was filmed in the kitchen here in Stirling, Scotland, but also (indirectly) in Jerusalem (including The Tower of David), Qumran, Bethlehem, Galilee and Nazareth Village - and we weren't even there! See, we can transcend any constraint people are limited by! • Thanks to our friend Scott Stewart, whose Hannukah candle photo we 'borrowed' and to all the apps who helped us with so many different things. • Bible verses are from the New International version. • ApologetiX quote the following Bible verse(s) in connection with the song: • Micah 5:2, But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times. • Lyrics: • http://www.apologetix.com/music/song....
