Duramax LB7 Injector Cup Removal Easy and Cheap

Well, our LB7 Duramax had the dreaded smoke after idling for a minute or so. we went and got the truck scanned and sure enough, the injectors are bad. This is a long and tedious project, but it will save you thousands of dollars in labor. All in all, it took me about 5 days to complete the entire job including adjusting the valves. I paid about 1700 (+800 refundable core charge)+ 100 for the master install kit from Lincoln Diesel Specialties ( no I am not sponsored by them, but they just offered great parts at a good price with helpful customer service.) plus the core charge of $800 (which they refunded after I sent in the old cores) I highly recommend them and the parts I received from them were exactly what I needed.
