The Chess Olympiad 2024 is being held in Budapest, Hungary from 11th to the 23rd of September 2024. Team India starts as the 2nd seed behind USA in the open section and as the top seed in the women's section. The Indian team in the open consists of Arjun Erigaisi, D. Gukesh, Praggnanandhaa, Vidit Gujrathi and P. Harikrishna. The women team of India consists of Harika, Vaishali, Divya Deshmukh, Tania Sachdev and Vantika Agrawal.
