From Georgian laments, to the West Coast sounds of the 1960s, to straight-up shanties, the Bittermen celebrate the age-old tradition of men singing together. Formed in 2014 by their musical director James Sills, the Bittermen are an open-access community choir who are equally at home on the concert stage or at festivals and especially in their spiritual home: The Rose Crown pub in Bebington, Wirral, UK.
