Sailung—meaning 100 small hills —is a breathtaking destination that lies on the border of the Dolakha and Ramechhap districts. I, along with 9 friends, embarked on a memorable journey to Sailung during winter, just a day before Holi. Our adventure began in Kathmandu on a Friday evening around 6 pm, and we spent the night at Nepalthok. • The following day, we traveled from Nepalthok to Khalakharka, passing through Rakethum and Galpa Bazaar. On the third day, we finally reached the stunning Sailung, which was only a short 15-20 minute hike from Kholakharka. The view from Sailung’s rolling hills was nothing short of cinematic, making it one of the best places to visit in Dolakha. • In this Sailung travel video, you'll witness the serene beauty of Dolakha’s landscape, as we explore this incredible region.
