The oil and filter change on a Ferguson TO-20 is no simple task, but when I bought this tractor, the previous owner gave me a filter and gasket with the tractor -- so I take that as a clue that it needs a new filter. Besides that, it's a good idea to replace the oil and filter on a new (to me) tractor just to know that the tractor is good-to-go. • Will there be problems?
