Focaccia bread | The Ultimate Focaccia bread | Neelo's kitchen • Make a simple, homemade version of this classic Italian bread. Even bread beginners can pull off this homemade focaccia recipe! Topped with olive oil, garlic thyme, and sea salt, it's SO delicious and easy to make. • This focaccia recipe is my favourite bread to bake at home. I love it because it’s soft and pillowy in the middle, crisp and golden around the edges, and filled with rich flavour of olive oil and sea salt. Next day I use left over bread to make Philly beef sandwiches, just love it. • #neeloskitchen #focassia #italianbread • Subscribe here: https://bit.ly/3hfB9ED • Neelo’s Kitchen Playlist: https://bit.ly/39bqAQ9 • Follow me on Facebook: / neelofarsecretrecipes • Follow me on Instagram: / naeemneelofer • Follow me on my Blog: https://bit.ly/2Hbyj6v • Follow me on my group: https://bit.ly/3hzGMxO • Follow me on Twitter: / neeloskitchen • Follow me on Thread: https://www.threads.net/@UCgI7F8wCkuJ... • Follow me on TIKTOK: https://www.tiktok.com/@neelos.kitche... • Follow my ID: / neelofar.naeem.9 • Ingredients: • 400g white flour • 1 tbsp yeast • 1 tbsp sugar • 1 tsp salt • warm water • olive oil 4 to 5 tbsp altogether • For topping: • cherry tomatoes • olives • fresh coriander or fresh rosemary • freshly chopped garlic • sea salt • oregano • thyme • Or use the topping of your choice • Baking time 30 to 40 minutes depending on your oven • Oven pre-heated for 15 mins at 200C • greased baking dish • Tips: • Oil your hands. This recipe asks you to oil your hands often. It might seems unnecessary or repetitive, but it makes a HUGE difference. Focaccia dough is wet and sticky, and it will stick to your hands if they’re not oiled, making it really difficult to work with. So, please! Oil your hands liberally. Just think of it as a little extra moisturizer! • Freeze the extras. Homemade focaccia is best on the day it’s made, but it will keep well in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. If you’d like to have it on hand for longer, I recommend freezing it. It thaws and reheats nicely! • How to Make Focaccia Sandwiches • This homemade focaccia bread is delicious as a snack and as a side for salads and soups…but it makes great sandwiches too! • Just slice the loaf in half horizontally and fill it with your favourite sandwich fixings. I make Philly beef sandwiches using this bread ( recipe coming soon)
