Manuela Mahua Ahuanari (68), an (onanya ainbo) shaman woman of the Shipibo people from the Peruvian Amazon, sings a curing song (ikaro). At the age of 30 she almost died of a near-fatal inflammatory disease and was cured using plants her Grandfather told her about.
