This is just one way to get many plants out of one! This works extremely well with any plant that roots readily and has multiple stems or produces suckers. • Basically you just mound up a rooting medium around the base of the plant and all of the bases of stems, and wait! At the end of one or two growing seasons, those stems will have rooted, and you can then remove the soil, sawdust, whatever you have used, and cut the rooted stems off and plant them elsewhere! • In this case we have dug up the entire plant, because we are moving it and the rest of our nursery to a new location, the land we have purchased and will be building our homestead on!
