In this video I show you how to disable or delete this from the computer so it no longer actives. There are several methods to do this and this is my favorite option. Do this at your own risk. I show you in this video how to delete dod or afm (active fuel management) using HP Tuners. Once you license the vehicle you have the ability down the road to make other changes as well. Lifter failure is very common on the 5.3. While this doesn't remove the lifters that generally fail it helps by not allowing them to engage or disengage.
