Tides effect the entire globe. Meanwhile, in Canada's Nova Scotia the Bay of Fundy serves up tidal swings that draw tourists from around the globe. Four times a day tides expose the ocean's true power, shifting water up to 54 feet at tide change. • Some of the largest tidal swings are seen here in Parrsboro, a small coastal town where boats come in on high tide and rest on the ocean floor during low tide.
